Cooper Hewitt
Cooper Hewitt was my favourite exhibition in New York. For a small fee we got to see the development of huge Disney Characters. From their starting concept right up to the process of how the characters’ design gets finalised, this included characters from Toy Story such as Woody and Sadness from the movie, Inside Out. Another interesting feature was that they had a whole room and projection dedicated to the iconic lamp shade that Disneys opening credits have become so popular with, Pixar. Again showing the early stages of design right through to final touches and animation progression.
